NO entries will be taken at the door. Pre-registration is required.

NO UNAUTHORIZED video taping of any workshop .

1. No Reservations. When we receive your entry fee you are entered. Notification will be sent to you, via email, US mail, or both.

2. No Discounts.

3. Entries will be taken until July 7, 2010 (must be transmitted or postmarked on or before July 7, 2010).

4. Entries will be taken on a first come first served basis, until the category is full.  See Category Descriptions for category limits.

5. Refunds only if category is filled or category is canceled.

6. Categories must have four or more entries or they will be canceled.

7. Absolutely no substitutions. You can not sell your spot to another.

8. Participants will choose where they would like to be in the line up; first part, middle, or last part. Your choice will be given according to when we receive your entry. Earliest entries get their first choice.

9. Check-in time is when the doors open and no later than 30 minutes prior to start of the contest. We would prefer you to remain on property once you have checked in. If you are not ready to go on stage when it is your turn, you will be skipped and no make-up position will be given.

10. Disqualification with no refund if participant appears overly intoxicated or is abusive to others.

11. Zills are not required.

12. The entire dance must be performed on the stage. Dancing on the floor is an automatic disqualification.

13. Every contestant must enter the stage via the stairs stage left.

14. Music on CD is preferred but you can use tapes. CDs or tapes must have only the music for your performance. Dance or Troupe name and category printed on tape or CD, not the container. Please have tapes cued and ready to go. The sound staff will not rewind your tape for you. Have back-up music available in case of emergency. Music is turned in at the front desk, not to the sound staff. Special Instructions must be on the CD or tape when it is turned in.

15. A 25-point penalty for exceeding the maximum dance time limit. There will be a 10 second grace period given for people or equipment errors or differences.

16. No live music allowed for any performers.

17. Returned checks will be assessed a $35.00 fee.

18. All acts should be appropriate for all ages to view.

19. Please do not talk to the Judges about your performance, until after the contest.

20. All judge's scores are final. We will double check all score, after the contest for mistakes.  Scores will be mailed, after they have been checked, to those that have provided us with a SASE legal size or larger,

21. Competitors, Venders, Judges, and any guest performers authorize Janie Midgley, Chris Kelly, Two Old Bags, The Wiggles of the West Competition and or their heirs to use or sell any or all photos or videotapes taken during said competition, for educational, promotional and professional purposes. Competitors release all rights, compensation recourse and complaints.
